Have you ever visited to Viet Nam? I think this country has many strange behaviors in communication and the slang language, is easy make the people misunderstand in my culture.
Actually, once time I was in the restaurant in my country to enjoy the seafood with my friends, when I got into the restaurant and waited for the hostesses to show the table, but it was startling preciously, because it almost never happened to me, I took a long time to wait and no one came, I asked the manager there how could I take the table and he said with the voice uncomfortable " Wait there, and do it yourself ". This sentence is not a polite of the manager with the guest, if you understand following the Vietnamese's slang, it is very bad. Moreover, one more strange thing which you will witness in the restaurant being never pay tips after finish meal and those things are completely difference in American cultural, it is also a weakness of Vietnamese culture. In the traffic too, it's seems a best crazy in the Viet Nam about the rules and some unreasonable punishments of the police for the citizen. Consequently, most of the Vietnamese violate the rule a lot without penalty rules. I upset with those a lot but I think that I can be changed in a near future

Journal #19

I really like travel with my friends in Viet Nam. Actually, traveling can help me reduce a lot of things after school and everything reflect on me in the life. I love my friends, they're really good friends to support my spirit when I had difficult things in my working. We spent on a vocation together which I maybe never forget them. This was a trip to Vung Tau beach on September,2007 with two days were there. Moreover, I've sometimes traveled outside the country to look for the new things those countries. I used to visit Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and recently was some place in United State. Beside that, I'm able to make a lot of friends in another countries where I visited, I was not only find out the interesting feeling from them about culture, clothes, character and communication,etc... but also can improve my English skill. I always wish I can visit many and many countries in during my life and I hope I can joyously do this...........

Spring break holiday passed so fast I still had many things wanting to do but I didn't chance to do this. I want to go to San Fransisco with my friends , it's a peaceful city with a fresh air. I think that I will take a trip to get there with my friends in next somedays

I always kept-up my language practice during the spring break. Because, almost my friend were born in US. They can not speak my language fluently, so we only spoken English one another. Moreover, I'm living with a American family and speak English every day but it still have some problem for me about pronunciation. Somethings which I talked to them they were hard to understand my voice and ideal. My English skill still has limit in parts such as slang words, idioms,etc... and I hope that I can improve them in school and society.

Journal#15

In during the spring break holiday, I spent on two days at my friend's home in Los Angeles. We had a joyous time on the beach with BBQ party with some new friends from another cities. The next day, they took me to the temple, it was called Hsi Lai. It belongs to Los Angeles, California, was one of the most awe inspiring sights I have never behold. The fee to entrance was $2, the main shrine was behind the front shrine and had the two halls leading to min shrine and finally was pagoda. The Buddha statue which was the most beautiful into the main shrine. I flatly went to another shrine and looked at them with a eerie feeling which I haven't had before. When I got home and I thought that if I had chance I would get there one more.

Journal #17

Traditionally, Macaroons are made from egg whites, sugar, and ground almonds or almond paste. Sometimes, however, coconut makes an appearance to provide a rich and chewy variation. If you'd like to enjoy the flavor of both almond and coconut in the same macaroon, try substituting almond extract for the vanilla in this recipe, that way, you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

Recipe:

• 4 eggs whites
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 3 cups lightly packed flacked coconut

In the large bowl of an electric mixer, beat egg whites until foamy; beat in salt,sugar, vanilla, and flour. add coconut and stir until well combined.
Drop batter by rounded teaspoonfuls onto well-greased baking sheets, spacing cookies about 1 inch apart. Bake in 325 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool briefly on baking sheets, then transfer to racks and let cool completely. Store airtight. Makes about 3 dozen.

Reading book is a really necessary for all of people. Actually, we can get much useful knowledges from the book. For me, I'm reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" which mention around business and how can get the money. It has 6 lessons to show you about the money in Business such as"The Rich don't work for the money, Why teach financial literacy?, Mind your own business, the History of tax and the power of corporations, The rich invent money and Work to learn-don't work for the money". This book is the basic for all of people who start for the business program. When I read it I can study a lot of thing into there and many strategies about business and find out the importance in business. Moreover this kind book has many versions and each version teach me some problem which necessary for me in my future

Spending the vocation in Nha Trang beach is the great thing which is a famous place in Viet Nam. It's the provincial capital of Khanh Hoa and attractive a lot of tourist inside and ouside the country. Actually, visiting to Nha Trang in summer, the tourist are able to join many enjoyable activities of there such as look at the glown of the dawn on the early morning, swimming , sunbathing, playing parachute and hiring the motor boat runs around on the sea,etc ....Moreover, Nha Trang 's not only famous about beautiful beach but also with a lot of imposing and particular islands, on the these islands tourist can dive deeply through into the sea to look at coral and the views surrounding, fishing and enjoy the fresh seafood. In the evening, having a lot pleasant activities for the tourist such as clubbing, coffee bar and many small restaurant with all kinds of sea food along the beach. I mean Nha Trang's a ideal place for almost people who want to relax and view the sceneries. If can , you should try to come this place and I believe that you will say" It's really a perfect place"
